Election to the NAM recognizes people who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. She is among 100 new members elected this year by current members. WebbThe study was led by Sarah Tishkoff, the David and Lyn Silfen University Associate Professor of the University of Pennsylvania. The study demonstrates startling diversity, shared ancestry among geographically diverse groups and traces the origins of Africans and African-Americans. It will appear in the April 30 issue of the journal Science Express.
