Any gravity, bounce, friction and other forces you need to calculate your self and apply accordingly via passing the resulting movement (= velocity) into the Move method every frame. WebbWhen you think of writing your own movement system/controller script, you're literally writing a version of what unity has available for us to use. Rigidbodies are great for physics objects, but fine tuning movement based on inputs for navigating the world is very tedious and some might even argue impossible with rigidbodies.
