WebJan 3, 2024 · FlashFloppy is an open source firmware replacement for Gotek floppy emulators that allows Gotek drives to be used with various vintage computers and other equipment. There are also other firmware options such as HxC, but I went with FlashFloppy because it was pre-installed by the seller, and open source is always a bonus. WebClick on the Remove protection button. Click on the OK button on the pop-up window that alerts you to wait until the Gotek is erased and reboots. Once the Gotek firmware has been erased you’ll notice that the Flash Loader program indicates a green light now and the flash size is 128KB. Now we need to click on the Next button.
