The top stinger stamping is a little rough where the bottom of the stinger meets the flat portion of the hood. Had a couple of very small high spots in that area also. A couple light taps with a body hammer took care of that. You might be able to cut it out but your going to see some of the inner hood I think and personally I don't think it will do anything for you performance wise.
